A varied and nutritionally balanced diet is essential to every child’s development and active participation during their time at nursery and at home. Children attending a full day at Bright Sparks Day Nursery Day Nursery will enjoy breakfast, morning and afternoon snack, a hot lunch with pudding and a light tea.

Please read the following terms and conditions in relation to your child attending Bright Sparks Day Nursery Day Nursery.
If the days or sessions requested cannot be guaranteed for your preferred start date your child will be placed on a waiting list and you will be notified when a space becomes available.  Upon receipt of your registration form you will be sent a letter confirming receipt of your registration form and also of your chosen days and preferred start date. Prior to your child’s first day we offer induction sessions free of charge where we invite you and your child to the nursery to spend a couple of hours meeting the staff who will be caring for your child and allows a chance to talk through your child’s individual needs and stage of development. 

We offer Early Years Education Funding for 3 and 4 years olds, these hours can be used with flexibility from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8-6. Please contact us for more information.

We are now able to offer the new government 30 hours free funding!

Fees are payable in advance by the 1st of the month either by online transfer, voucher schemes, cheque or cash.  Fees for extra sessions will be invoiced monthly in arrears. 
Children who receive the funding will have this deducted as necessary.
No reduction of fees will be given if your child is absent due to illness. Bright Sparks Day Nursery Day Nursery reserves the right to refuse admission to the child if fees are overdue by more than 30 days.  Fees are reviewed annually and parents will be notified at least one month in advance of any changes.

We aim to provide flexible child care to meet all individual needs and for those parents who work shift patterns we try to accommodate these also.
Collection of Children
Bright Sparks Day Nursery Day Nursery must be notified if you are going to be late to collect your child and a charge of £5.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes you are late.  Bright Sparks Day Nursery will not release any child to anyone not previously authorised by a parent.

Notice of Termination 
You are required to give one calendar months written notice to Bright Sparks Day Nursery Day Nursery to terminate a child’s place.
Policies and Procedures
Bright Sparks Day Nursery Day Nursery has policies and procedures which are reviewed annually or when changes occur in legislation.  These policies and procedures are available within our office for parents to see at any time.
Opening Hours
Bright Sparks Day Nursery is open from 8:00 until 18:00 Monday to Friday and for parents requiring earlier drop-offs we operate a breakfast club which starts at 7am each day. The nursery is closed for the period between Christmas and New Year and on all Public Bank Holidays.
Use of the car park is entirely at your own risk.

Provision of Nursery Facility 
Bright Sparks Day Nursery will not be held responsible for failure to provide nursery facility resulting from events beyond its reasonable control.
